\nWhere We Stayed: Margaritaville Resort Orlando Cottages<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Thursday, February 24, Rest Day + Disney Springs<\/strong><\/span>
\nWe were originally going to wake up EARLY and try to get a walk-in spot at Chef Mickey\u2019s character breakfast, but we changed the plans once we realized how tired the kids were (and how tired we were, tbh). We decided to let everyone sleep in and have a relaxing morning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike woke up early to make us all an egg bake breakfast. We had that and fruit salad \u2013 and the kids swam in the pool. Just what we all needed: a slow morning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We headed to Disney Springs after lunch. Mike wanted to get another silhouette done of the three kids, so that was #1 on our to-do list. E and I found a pin shop to browse. And we all visited the gigantic World of Disney store and did some serious shopping.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After our brief trip to Disney Springs, we drove to the Transportation and Ticket Center and hopped on the monorail.\u00a0 We wanted the kids to be able to experience the monorail and I wanted to visit the shops at the Contemporary Resort (and let\u2019s be real: we knew that A would <\/span>love<\/span><\/i> the monorail going THROUGH the hotel).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We rode monorail red, orange, and gray and had so much fun just having a chill afternoon of shopping and monorail\u2019ing around. I bought a new suitcase at the Contemporary – a ridiculous Disney-themed and rainbow\u2019d suitcase – but as we would find out in a few days, we wouldn\u2019t have made it home with all of our belongings without it!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When we returned to the cottage, Mike and the kids went swimming at the big hotel pool (our private pool was losing its luster, apparently) and I ordered pizza for all of us for dinner. A delightful day!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
