Travelogue: Door County

June 2022
Where We Stayed: The Landmark & The Pheasant Park

Half of this trip was for an elder law conference, half of this trip was for fun with Mike and the kids. My mom and I stayed at the Landmark, a hotel I hadn’t been to since I was a little bitty kid. It was lovely and right in the middle of the woods – so cozy! We were mostly busy with the conference, but had a chance to go to Shipwrecked in Egg Harbor and Wild Tomato in Sister Bay for some delicious dinners!

A few days after our conference wrapped up, my mom went home and I joined Mike and the kids for some Door County fun.  We hit all the classic spots with the kids — Al Johnson’s, Pirate’s Cove for mini golf, Wilson’s for ice cream, Wild Tomato for pizza, plus some time in the hotel pool and swimming at the beach at Whitefish Dunes State Park.
