Where We Stayed: Hotel Indigo Madison Downtown

The reason for this overnight trip to Madison was two-fold: to see Lizzo at the Sylvee and to attend a seminar for work the next day.  I stayed at the Hotel Indigo, which is in an old building that used to be a Mautz paint factory.  The entire hotel, as a result, is paint-themed.  It was so cute! ALSO… Fill the Hill was going on for UW’s Homecoming weekend. It’s the one day of the year where Bascom Hill is filled with pink flamingos. #OnWisconsin!

Checked into the hotel and loved the neon sign by the elevators — changes colors depending on the time of day.
A very tiny but very cozy room.
Ready for the Lizzo show!
A Lizzo show is a religious experience.
The next day, after my seminar, I drove to campus and walked around. I miss UW so much!
Oh, many drunken visits to the Parthenon. Memories.
Fill the Hill!
One of my all-time favorite photos I’ve taken — fall colors + UW Terrace. My heart.
That cow has seen things.
’til next time, Madison
