Where We Stayed: The Grand Floridian
- To repeat what we did in 2024, we headed to Disney World after our relaxing stay in Boca Grande. I joke that I drag Jeanne to Disney, but I think she’s kind of sort of starting to enjoy it. Or maybe she just likes our slow pace and that we don’t really do much besides people-watch.
- We decided to stay at the Grand Floridian this time (a change from our usual Contemporary). We hadn’t stayed at the GF since the 90s — and while much has changed, much as also stayed the same. We really enjoyed it and thought the resort was lovely, clean, and really, really cozy.
- Our arrival day to the WDW brought a visit to Disney Springs and some relaxation.
- The next day, we headed to the Magic Kingdom for our first full park day.
- Our friends from Oshkosh, Lynn and Kathryn, were also at the MK (a really fun coincidence), so we met up with them for some mini corn dogs at Casey’s. It was a delightful day!
